VITADSUN® is a food supplement in orodispersible granules based on 50 mcg of vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol), 225 mg of magnesium and 90 mcg of vitamin K2.

Vitamin D is very important for our body. It is able to keep bones and teeth healthy, it is useful for regulating the level of calcium in the blood and prevents it from depositing in certain areas of the body, such as the kidneys.

The main functions are:

• intestinal calcium absorption
• reabsorption of calcium and phosphorus in the renal proximal convoluted tubule
• calcium deposition in the bone tissue

Magnesium is an essential mineral for many cellular functions, it protects the health of the heart, regulates blood pressure and facilitates the activities of vitamin D. It also plays a crucial role for bone health, as a correct intake can help to reach the level desired vitamin D faster:

• a deficiency of magnesium does not allow adequate mobilization of vitamin D.

Vitamin K2 is responsible for controlling the way in which calcium is accumulated and used in the body:

    1)  It protects our cardiovascular system by preventing the calcium that circulates in the blood, and which we take through food, from depositing in the arteries and in some soft tissues in favor of the bone tissue.

   2) It prevents osteoporosis by curbing the action of the cells in charge of bone resorption (osteoclasts) and at the same time activating osteocalcin, a protein that stimulates the adhesion of calcium to bone tissue, making it more resistant and flexible.

VITADSUN® is a food supplement indicated in cases of hypovitaminosis D for all risk categories such as:

• pregnant or breastfeeding women
• pre-menopause and menopause
• adults at risk of vitamin D insufficiency (e.g. elderly or people with low UV exposure)
• obese people or people with metabolic syndrome

METHOD OF USE

VITADSUN® is taken by pouring the contents of the sachet directly into the mouth, without the need for water. 1 sachet per day is recommended.
